No one talks about the emotional toll of waiting. I’ve often written that I believe Tom Petty had it right when he sang, “The waiting is the hardest part.” I’ve always found that statement to be true, but especially in the season I currently find myself in.
I’m not in a hospital room. I’m not recovering from surgery. I’m just … waiting.
Waiting for an appointment. Waiting for a procedure. Waiting for my body to stop screaming for relief. Yet, I’m still writing, coaching, creating and building — because that’s what we strong, resilient, quality, royal women do.
On this week’s episode of the #BecomingPodcast, I open up about the uncertainty, the fear I’m having to banish and the decision to hold the vision of my fabulous future and stay in a positive mindset anyway.
This is for every woman trying to lead and live through a pause that feels unfair. You’re not alone. You’re not broken. You’re becoming.
I invite you to listen now and share this episode with someone who needs encouragement while they wait.
