The Summer of Becoming: Reflections, Rest & A New Season Ahead
This summer didn’t go as planned — and maybe that’s exactly what I needed. Life slowed down, plans changed and I found myself in a season of rest and reflection that turned out to be more healing than hustle ever could be.
Relearning Rest
There is something sacred about stopping — or at least slowing way down. When the world urges productivity, choosing rest is an act of rebellion and self-love. I spent days soaking up sunshine, holding tiny hands and just being — without pressure.
Well, let’s face it … There’s always going to be some pressure from outside people with unrealistic expectations or their own agendas, but I learned to nurture myself and make myself a priority. I pushed when I could, and rested when my body told me it had enough. I silenced the voices inside my head that said I wasn’t doing enough, and I treated myself like a newborn I deeply loved.
Redefining My Voice
This pause gave me space to remember why I started my podcast in the first place. It wasn’t for popularity or metrics — but to hold sacred conversations for women in transition, those who felt unheard and those on the rise who needed encouragement. I did it for you. For me. For us.
