Senee Seale, Ms. U.S., The Princess Guide, Becoming Publishing & Coaching

Legally blind Dallas native crowned Ms. U.S. Ambassador Queen

(LONG BEACH, Calif.) January 28, 2024 — You could say that she walked by faith and not by sight. In spite of her visual challenges, Senée Seale was crowned Ms. Elite U.S. Ambassador Queen during the 2024 Ms. U.S. Pageant held on Sunday on The Queen Mary in Long Beach, Calif. The Qualified Mental Health Professional, life coach, book author and former print journalist’s platform is Discovering your magnificence within — A journey to self-love based on her upcoming book Becoming the Magnificent Me and her 2020 release The Princess Guide to Loving Yourself First.

Ms. Seale competed in the Woman of Achievement Pageant on Saturday singing True Colors for the talent competition on Friday. Later that day, she presented her platform work and ended the evening with the judge’s interview. This is just the second pageant she has competed in having been a contestant in the Miss Northeast Texas Teen U.S.A. Pageant when she was a freshman in high school.

Her journey to the crown was not smooth sailing. Ms. Seale was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa when she was 20 years old and has been declared legally blind. She is grateful for what vision she has left, but she has lost all her night vision and most of her peripheral vision. She was guided on stage by her then boyfriend, now fiancé, Carson Luchsinger. She is the first legally blind queen in the Ms. U.S. Pageant and the second in the Woman of Achievement Pageant system.

As evening approached during the Saturday competition, all the visual landmarks she had established during the daytime rehearsals and pageant had disappeared into the darkness. As she stood next in line to walk in the evening gown competition, fear and uncertainty gripped her.

“I knew in that moment that I couldn’t counsel or coach myself out of my emotions,” said Ms. Seale. “I also knew that I had the option of giving up and quitting, but that is not me. I am a woman of my word. I had to dig deep and find my own magnificence within.”

The final event of the weekend was the Ms. & Ms. Elite U.S. Pageant. Ms. Seale entered that event starting with an on-stage question about her platform followed by the fitness attire and evening gown competitions. Ms. Seale was all smiles when her name was called, and she was crowned Ms. Elite U.S. Ambassador Queen 2024.

“I’m so grateful and honored to represent the Ms. U.S. Pageant organization, the newest division of Woman of Achievement,” she said. “I am a prime example that you can achieve any goal or dream if you just believe in and love yourself first. I am so privileged to be part of this sisterhood of remarkable women who are using their challenges in life to create positive changes in the world. I look forward to spreading my message of hope and inspiring others to discover their magnificence within this year.”

Ms. Seale is available for any appearances and speaking engagements in which you may like her to participate.
